Doha Youth Development League, founded by BE Basketball begins this weekend!
Alongside 6 other basketball academies across Qatar including QBHoops, Junior Falcons & Futre Sports, the DYDL Saturday league will be the perfect place for young and aspiring beginner/intermediate level players to learn the game in a safe and fun environment.
Housed at the University of Doha every Saturday from 09:30 - 14:30, this all day basketball event will include age categories from U8 to U16 with boys & girls for the next 9 weeks!
There will be over 210 basketball players coming together at specific times to play their game each weekend with exciting finals December with awards, trophies, medals and prizes!
Ben Smith, CEO & Co-Founder of BE Basketball said:
“Over the last 10 years in Doha, we have yet to see a structured basketball league dedicated for the development level of academies for both boys & girls. We intend for this to be the beginning of something special as BE Basketball and our partner academies work together to build a friendly, fun & safe environment where the ultimate goals are Learning, Development & Enjoyment for all. In term 2, we are already hoping to grow it and have a third court in UDST reserved for more DYDL action - watch this space!”
