Welcome Coach Ratoul!

We are thrilled to have Coach Ratoul from Algeria join the BE Basketball team this Term 3 to end our incredible 10th Season. Ratoul has arrived with a wealth of experience from working with the Algerian Basketball Federation where he was directing various basketball activities.
His basketball career began as a passionate player before transitioning into coaching and player development. He started his playing career with Chlef Team NBC in Division 2, where he developed his foundation before moving to the top level. He later competed in Division 1 basketball with GSP Pétrolier and NBS Staoueli in Algiers, gaining valuable experience and a deep understanding of the game, which later shaped his coaching approach.
His love for basketball led him to coaching, and he has been shaping young athletes since 2008.
With over 10 years of experience coaching youth teams, Ratoul has played a crucial role in developing young talent, helping many players improve their skills and elevate their game. He started with youth teams before moving on to coaching senior teams in Algeria by 2013. He also worked as a youth coach for Chlef Team, further contributing to player development. In 2011, he expanded into skills training, working with numerous players to refine their technique.
Ratoul is an active member of “A Bucket and a Dream Basketball”, leading international basketball camps and mentoring young athletes. He has also gained valuable experience working with elite athletes at European camps, further enhancing his coaching expertise.
Additionally, he is a staff member of the National Commission of 3x3 Basketball in Algeria and has been part of the coaching staff for Algeria’s National 3x3 Team, contributing to the growth and development of the sport on a national level.
With years of dedication to both playing and coaching, Ratoul continues to influence the basketball community, helping players reach their full potential and is excited to bring that to BE Basketball this term!
